Dark lady played black magic

While Regina (Lana Parrilla) continues to try and stop using her magic in an attempt to win back Henry’s affections, she begins seeing what she believes is a ghost; and when Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) discover a lone survivor from an ogre massacre, Emma begins to question whether or not he’s telling the truth. Meanwhile, in the fairy-tale land that was, Regina finds herself failing at learning the dark arts from a dark master because something from her past is preventing her from using her magic for evil.

Left for dead

Now that Congressman Nicholas Brody’s (Damian Lewis) in the custody of the CIA, he has to answer some tough questions. He lies through his terrorist teeth, even when he is shown the video he made before strapping on the suicide bomber’s vest. Peter, the interrogator, gets impatient and stabs Brody through the hand. Carrie (Claire Danes) takes over, shutting off the cameras and uncuffing Brody, and detailing Abu Nazir’s crimes against women and children. Brody admits there is a plan to attack America. He outs the Roya Hammad (Zuleikha Robinson), the reporter who was giving him orders from Nazir. Carrie offers Brody a deal to protect his family and avoid a trial. Will he take it? Meanwhile, Dana (Morgan Saylor) goes on a date with the Vice President’s son, Finn (Timothee Chalamet). On the way home, they lose the Secret Service agents protecting them and Finn hits a pedestrian and drives away.

United they stand

Well, “The Walking Dead” is off to a great start, bringing in a record number of viewers who can’t get enough of the zombie saga. This week, Andrea (Laurie Holden) and sword-wielding Michonne (Danai Gurira) are in the spotlight. After witnessing a grisly accident, they are introduced to a new community of survivors. As conflicts arise with their new acquaintances, a decision must be made.

The black Jethro

A petty officer is gunned down in a billionaire’s Ferrari and the investigation leads the “NCIS” team to discover a link to the World War II veteran whom Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) was named after. His name is Leroy Jethro Moore and he’s black. Billy Dee Williams guest-stars. And so does Ralph Waite, as Gibbs’ father. Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo also star.

Occult studies

Damon (Ian Somerhalder) goes with Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) to visit Whitmore College, where Professor Shane is taking over the Occult Studies classes formerly taught by Bonnie’s grandmother. At a fraternity costume party, Damon takes advantage of the wild scene to give Elena a lesson in choosing a victim. Rebekah’s (Claire Holt) attempt to buy Matt’s (Zach Roerig) forgiveness falls flat, but she is intrigued by unexpected news from Klaus (Joseph Morgan). When Stefan (Paul Wesley) questions Klaus about Connor’s motives, Klaus reveals a long-ago encounter with a group of vampire hunters, but it’s Rebekah who delivers the information that stuns Stefan.

Murders in the morgue

While doing research in a hospital morgue, Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) stumbles upon a series of murders that he believes have been committed by an angel of death on weak and terminal patients at a hospital, making it look like they died of natural causes. Meanwhile, Sherlock learns more about Joan’s (Lucy Liu) decision to walk away from her career.
