Voting may be in‘tents’

You could be voting in an outdoor tent next week.

Officials at the city Board of Elections say they’re prepared to open polls Tuesday even in areas that don’t have power.

“We have a contingency plan that’s been put in place,” said J.C. Polanco, the Bronx Republican commissioner.

One contingency: set up polling booths under tents in school yards if the buildings are out of commission.
