Sandy relief fund created for Staten Island and NJ

A relief fund has been created to assist residents of Staten Island and New Jersey hardest hit by Superstorm Sandy.

Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and Borough President James Molinaro made the announcement Friday.

Giuliani said an organization founded in memory of Staten Island firefighter Stephen Siller will administer the Tunnel to Towers Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.

Siller died on 9/11.

Donors can go on www.tunneltotowers.org to learn more about the fund and where to send donations.

Organizers said actor Gary Sinise has donated $100,000 to the fund. Giuliani also has made a donation.
