Police called to Brooklyn shuttle bus waiting area over ‘line-cutters’

Police were summoned at a Brooklyn shuttle bus waiting area when a man and woman tried to cut a two-block line.

A straphanger yelled: “Officer! Officer! That guy just cut the line!”

The police came and dragged the couple away, as they protested loudly.

Said the snitch: “This is Brooklyn. Fuhgetabout it.”

Generally, though, the line moved fairly quickly and was very orderly. Some people waited about 30 minutes.

More officers were assigned Friday to the bus transfer area outside the Jay Street subway station in Brooklyn.

Things got a little chaotic there at times on Thursday.
