It’s a ship of pool

Give me my boat back!

A Long Island yacht owner sued a Lindenhurst man after Hurricane Sandy tossed his boat into a residential pool and the homeowner refused to let him retrieve it, according to court papers.

Andres Medina’s 38-foot yacht — La Vida Loca IV — was ripped from its dry dock at the Anchorage Yacht Club in Lindenhurst when Superstorm Sandy struck last week.

After the hurricane passed, homeowner Anthony Magadino found the boat perched in his backyard swimming pool, but refused to relinquish it because of “alleged damages to his swimming pool and deck,” the suit states.

A federal judge agreed with Medina and granted him the emergency right to enter Magadino’s property and retrieve the boat.

Magadino plans to appeal.
