Cooperation or betrayal?

The Issue: NJ Gov. Christie’s work with President Obama during recovery efforts after Hurricane Sandy.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie can deny it all he wants, but that cannot change the fact that he helped bring us President Obama, the sequel: four more years of misery (“Christie: I Campaigned Harder Than Anyone for Romney,” Nov. 7).

I would have voted for Christie for any office he chose to seek. Now I wouldn’t vote for him for anything. W. Gensert

With Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts casting the decisive vote for ObamaCare and Christie praising Obama for his help after Hurricane Sandy, it looks like key Republicans helped Obama get re-elected as much as Democrats.

Political compromise has come from two of the unlikeliest places.

Maybe there is hope after all that Republicans and Democrats can put aside their political differences and do what is best for America as a whole.K. Zimmerman

I live in Texas and was a Christie supporter, but no longer. He reminds me of a small pouting child because he didn’t get his way when he was passed over for vice president. He is one fewer potential leader to consider in the future.
