50G for ‘harassed’ OWS trio

Three Occupy Wall Street protesters landed a $50,000 payout from New York City yesterday after claiming they were harassed and wrongly arrested by cops in March.

Angela Richino, Matthew Vrvilo and Kira Moyer-Sims were buying coffee near the Manhattan Bridge when they were allegedly surrounded by NYPD cops and arrested near an OWS march.

The three claim they were transported to an East Village station house where they were strip-searched and interrogated about their OWS ties and arresting cops ignored their requests for counsel.

They were charged with obstructing governmental administration, but Manhattan prosecutors eventually declined to press charges.

In a settlement reached yesterday, Richino will receive $20,000 while Moyer-Sims and Vrvilo will both get $15,000.
