‘Paper’ cha$e

The daughter of an infamous Wall Street raider is being sued over wallpaper.

Renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami yesterday claimed the art-dealer daughter of insider trader Ivan Boesky lent a wallpaper design he created to the Metropolitan Museum of Art without permission.

Marianne Boesky and her New York gallery previously represented Murakami, according to his Manhattan Supreme Court suit.

Murakami recently “became aware” that Marianne Boesky agreed to lend his “high-concept wallpaper design,” called “Cosmos,” to the Met, the suit said.

The wallpaper was created in 2003 with the intent of being sold to just 15 collectors.

When he contacted Boesky, he learned “to his surprise and alarm” that she believed he orally gave her authority to distribute the paper to custmers, the suit said.

A woman at Boesky’s gallery said “We’re not commenting.”
