JUST JOSHIN’: Katie Holmes plants a stage kiss on co-star Josh Hamilton in a preview of their show, “Dead Accounts.”

Kiss him, Kate!

Katie Holmes made her return to the Broadway stage Monday for the first night of previews for the play “Dead Accounts’’ — and delivered a lingering, passionate smooch to hunky co-star Josh Hamilton as part of the act.

The married Hamilton, 43, was rumored to have had a crush on his famous, newly divorced co-star, 33. But sources told The Post they’re just friends.

“Katie is not interested in anyone romantically right now. She is completely consumed with providing [6-year-old daughter] Suri a stable home life and doing a great job with this play,’’ a source told the Chicago Sun-Times.

In the show — at the Music Box Theatre on West 45th Street — Holmes plays the sister of a con man who returns from New York to his hometown of Cincinnati.

At the end of Monday night’s preview — which had been postponed because of Hurricane Sandy — the cast received a standing ovation.

The former Mrs. Tom Cruise and “Dawson’s Creek’’ star has quickly won over her castmates during rehearsals, sources told Us.

“People thought they would have to step on eggshells [around her]. She’s got her personal stuff going on. But she leaves that at the door,’’ one source said. “Behind the scenes, she’s a funny, loving girl, not an ounce of diva in her.”
