ALBANY — Judge Theodore Jones Jr., one of seven jurists on New York’s top court, has died at age 68.

Court officials said yesterday that Jones suffered an apparent heart attack Monday night at his home in Rockland County.

A state Supreme Court Justice in Brooklyn since 1990, Jones was nominated in 2007 by Gov. Eliot Spitzer to the Court of Appeals.

He is survived by his wife, Joan, and sons, Wesley Jones and Theodore Jones III, an attorney.
