For the second straight day, NYRA canceled live racing at Aqueduct on Thursday following a nor’easter that passed through the region and left behind several inches of wet snow and dangerous road conditions.
Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will remain open for simulcasting, and Telebet and Internet wagering will be available through NYRA Rewards. Simulcast racing from tracks such as Calder, Churchill Downs, Finger Lakes and opening day at Betfair Hollywood Park will be shown on the NYRA Network, Channel 71 on Time Warner Cable and Channel 74 on Cablevision. Live racing at Aqueduct is scheduled to resume Friday.
