‘Flipping Out’ star suing his assistant

‘Flipping Out” star Jeff Lewis is suing his longtime assistant — “Flipping Out” co-star Jenni Pulos — over a forthcoming tell-all book.

Lewis is charging that the book — called “Hang in There, Baby: What One of the World’s Most Difficult Bosses Taught Me About Life, Work and Love” — violates a non-disclosure agreement she’d signed in 2008.

Lewis, an LA interior decorator who graduated to real estate speculator for the Bravo series, has made his reputation on TV as a boss-from- hell who ends up doing the right thing by the closing credits.

But this legal battle drama appears to be genuine.

Lewis is asking a judge to kill the book and order Pulos to honor her agreement not talk about her job outside the TV show,

Pulos has responded that the book is about her and not Lewis and it has not yet been completed.

Its title has already been changed to drop the “World’s Most Difficult Bosses” subtitle, she says.

Lewis says he asked his assistant for an advance copy of the book and, when she refused to provide it, he decided to take her to court.

The book is scheduled for release in August 2013.
