Turning up OT heat

Utility workers who have put in 60- to 80-hour weeks repairing Sandy damage have sued National Grid, claiming the utility is stiffing them on overtime, court papers said yesterday.

The union representing the workers said they haven’t been paid for OT in Brooklyn and Queens, the Brooklyn federal court suit states.

A National Grid spokesman cited a automated payroll problem and said all employees will be “made whole as soon as possible.”
