Storm ravaged ‘666’ canceled

Abc has foreclosed on the promising supernatural drama “666 Park Avenue.”

The show, which starred Terry O’Quinn from “Lost” and Vanessa Williams of “Desperate Housewives,” suffered major damage to its set in Queens during Superstorm Sandy and for the last few weeks has been shooting instead on location around the city.

The famed Ansonia Hotel on Broadway was used as the exterior of the fictional 666 Park on the show.

But it now appears the ratings were not good enough to justify rebuilding.

The show centered on a young couple who manage a Manhattan apartment building that’s plagued by supernatural occurrences.

The network says it will air the remaining episodes but will not make any new episodes.
