A father and his two adult children were wounded by pellet-gun fire outside a Parkchester funeral home last night, law-enforcement sources said.

The victims were struck at around 7:15 p.m. while in the parking lot of the Ortiz R G Funeral Home on Westchester Avenue, the sources said.

They were rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

It was not clear if the victims were the intended targets or if the violence was related to any of the services at the funeral home, according to the sources.

If only they had carried out the crime as planned.

Two apparently less-than-brilliant teens blocked a pedestrian’s path at Fulton Avenue and East 167th Street in Morrisania at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday and demanded his cellphone, court papers state.

But then they stopped to listen as he begged, “Don’t take my cell. It’s brand new. I’ll give you money instead,” the court documents say.

After brainstorming, David Castillo, 17, and Martin Algernon, 16, agreed to walk the man over to two ATMs, but he was unable to get cash from his account, according to the records.

So, rather than flee at that point, they allegedly grabbed his cell, headphones and debit card, then walked him home and threatened to keep his property if he didn’t come back out with money for them.

Once inside his home, of course, the man immediately called 911, and the two suspects were soon busted on charges of robbery, grand larceny, petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

The woman was treated for her injuries at Lutheran Medical Center and released, whereupon she was thrilled to be reunited with her pricey device.

Cops are looking for a suspected thief who snatched an iPhone from a young man who was just too trusting, police said.

The suspect asked to look at the 21-year-old’s phone at Steinway Street and Broadway at 7:05 p.m. Oct. 16, cops said.

After checking out the phone, the suspect declared that he could sell it and ran off with it, the owner told investigators.

The suspect, described as in his early 20s, about 6-foot-1 and blond, was last seen wearing jeans and a gray sweatshirt, police said.
