AD25,” marking the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s mega-selling album, “Bad,” is only the second movie authorized by Jackson’s estate since he died in June 2009 at the age of 50.

“This is the first authorized film using materials from Michael’s archives and also the first and only in-depth film showing the making of one of Michael’s albums,” John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of Jackson’s estate, told The Post.

“The era [director] Spike [Lee] captures so well in his film was a period when Michael was the biggest star in the world launching his first global tour as a solo artist . . . that made news wherever it went.”

The 90-minute special airs tonight on ABC (Ch. 7) at 9:30.
