In the interview room after the first round of the Dubai World Championship, Rory McIlroy took a tough question from his girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki.

The Danish tennis star demanded to know what she would get for Christmas. McIlroy, who shot a 67 to finish two shots behind leader Luke Donald, tried to avoid the topic by telling her she “already got a lot of nice presents.”

Referee Mark Clattenburg was cleared by English soccer authorities of using racist language toward a Chelsea player last month during a Premier League match.

Chelsea midfielder Ramires said he heard Clattenburg tell teammate John Obi Mikel “shut up you monkey” during the match against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
