Despite pleas from the left and President Obama’s re-election, the White House is not going to consider closing the detention and military-commission facilities at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
The president is no fan of Gitmo or trying 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed before a military tribunal there. But “he’s not going to fight that fight again,” a source said. “It’s done.”
