Qns. mosque ‘hate’ attack

A Muslim man was stabbed as he opened the door to a Queens mosque for morning prayers yesterday in what cops are investigating as a possible hate crime.

“I looked behind me and he was there,’’ the victim, Ahmad Bashir, told The Post.

“He bit my nose. He was saying, ‘I kill the Muslims! I’m going to kill you!’ I was telling him, ‘I’m the wrong guy. He hit me one, two, thgree, four, five times. He hit my head. He stabbed me in my back. He hit me in the face.’’

Bashir said he’d been stabbed “10 or 12 times’’ in the attack on Kissena Boulevard in Flushing. He was released after treatment at Queens General Hospital.

Cops described the attacker as a Hispanic man in his 40s. Police sketches show the man in a hat and glasses.
