‘Slayer’ has bawl

A father on trial for a second time in the hammer-beating death of his stepdaughter broke down in tears in Brooklyn Supreme Court yesterday.

Jean Simon (pictured), 55, wiped his eyes and cried as his wife and her family testified that he murdered Lakeshia Seymour, 18, on the front porch of their Canarsie home.

“She was exiting the home and he was hitting her and hitting her,” said the victim’s aunt Rowshawna Lambert, 35, who watched the vicious attack from her home across the street. “I was yelling, ‘Simon! Simon! What are you doing?’ And he continued to keep hitting her.”

Simon’s first trial ended in a mistrial when it was revealed he had asked for an attorney — but had been ignored — before he gave a taped confession.
