If someone paid $185,000 at a charity auction to have lunch with Mayor Bloomberg, how much could a round of a golf fetch?
That six-figure question will be answered next month on CharityBuzz.com, on which the mayor is offering to hit the links to raise funds for hurricane victims.
The golf date is valued at $50,000 and up to three people can bring their clubs. The money will go Vogue magazine’s Fashion for Sandy Relief Initiative.
A previous auction on behalf of the Humane Society pulled in an astonishing $185,000 for a lunch date with Bloomberg, again with the winner allowed to bring as many as three guests.
