Stray window shot

A 32-year-old woman was shot in the face while doing the dishes in her Brooklyn apartment yesterday after a stray bullet whizzed through her first-floor window, cops said.

The bullet grazed her on the cheek.

“Her apartment faces the playground outside,’’ said Evelyn Vasquez, 64, a neighbor at the Crown Heights building where the shooting occurred at 3:25 p.m. “This happens often.’’

“We throw ourselves on the floor’’ during shootings near the Pacific Street building.

“It shouldn’t have happened to her. She’s a new tenant, been here for about a year. … She’s quiet, no problems.’’

The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

Another tenant on the first floor said a bullet also flew through her home last year.

“It happened to me, too. It just missed me,” the neighbor said.
