Halle Berry’s baby daddy was arrested yesterday at her California home after he alegedly got into a furious brawl with her actor fiancé, according to a report.
Gabriel Aubry had just dropped off their 4-year-old daughter, Nahla, at Berry’s West Hollywood house when he allegedly locked horns with the actress’ new man, Olivier Martinez, TMZ reported.
Aubry, a Canadian model, blew up when the French actor told him, “We have to move on.”
Aubry, 36, allegedly shoved and swung at Martinez, 46, but the actor turned the tables, the report said.
Martinez blocked Aubry’s punch, causing it to strike him in the shoulder instead of the face, the Web site said.
Aubry allegedly pushed Martinez to the ground, but Martinez clocked him in the face and pinned him — unconscious — to the ground, TMZ reported, citing witnesses.
A police source told ABC News that Martinez “gave back more than Gabriel dished out.”
Berry, who broke up with Aubry in 2010, was present when “Gabriel went nuts,” a source told TMZ.
It was not clear whether Nahla witnessed the fisticuffs.
Both men were treated in the same emergency room about an hour apart — Aubry for a broken rib and a head injury, Martinez for a possibly broken hand.
After Aubry was released, he “was booked for a private persons arrest for battery,” LA cops told People magazine. Bail was set at $20,000.
Berry, 46, who won an Oscar for “Monster’s Ball,” obtained an emergency order of protection to keep Aubry away from her, Nahla and Martinez.
He must stay at least 100 yards away, ABC said.
The order is in effect until Dec. 3. Aubry is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 13.
The brawl came a day after Berry, Martinez and Aubry all acted like civil adults while taking Nahla to a pre-Thanksgiving party, Radar Online reported.
Tension between Martinez and Aubry has soared since Berry tried to take Nahla to France to live with her and Martinez.
Aubry went to court and got an order stopping her.
