Knicks have NBA’s top-selling merchandise

The surging Knicks have vaulted to the best-selling merchandise in the NBA, outstripping Brooklyn’s new black-and-white regalia, according to figures provided by the league. It’s the first time the Knicks have been in the top spot since 2004. The Nets ranked seventh. However, the new Brooklyn Nets jerseys weren’t available until September.

The rankings are based on sales at the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue and its online store from April through Thanksgiving Weekend.

Carmelo Anthony’s No. 7 jersey ranked fourth among players, with LeBron James supplanting the injured Derrick Rose for No. 1. Deron Williams’ Brooklyn jersey ranked 11th.
