There were bargains and bloodshed.

Long lines, short fuses and a frenzied quest for deals brought out the wild and reckless side of some Black Friday shoppers.

An outing to a Walmart in Washington state turned bloody for a couple hit by an SUV in the parking lot Thursday afternoon. The woman who was struck suffered serious injuries, according to local news reports.

A 71-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault. A spokeswoman for the King County Sheriff’s Office reportedly said authorities suspect alcohol was a factor.

In Georgia, customers at a Walmart in Moultrie muscled each other out of the way to snatch cellphones. A video of the incident went viral.

A Walmart spokesman said a cellphone with a prepaid, unlimited usage plan “led to excitement among our customers,” but there were no injuries.

At a Sears in Texas, one shopper allegedly pulled a gun on a man who punched him Thursday.

San Antonio Police Sgt. Rob Carey said a man tried cutting in front of a line, then slugged someone in the face — someone who had a license for a concealed handgun, according to reports.
