Good Samaritan scares off would-be rapist in Brooklyn

A Good Samaritan scared off a would-be rapist in Bed Stuy who was attacking a woman on the street, authorities said.

The 21-year-old victim was on her way home on Nov. 16 at 1:20 a.m. when the suspect came up to her and started walking alongside her, police said. He then grabbed the woman and tried to force himself onto her, police said.

The good sam heard the woman scream and thwarted the attack, cops said. The assailant fled from the scene, police said.

The suspect is believed to be in his 20’s, 6-feet tall, 170 pounds and was wearing a black jacket and a winter hat with drawstrings at the time of the attack, cops said.
