Indictment in serial murders

A grand jury yesterday indicted alleged Brooklyn serial killer Salvatore Perrone in the shooting deaths of three store owners.

Neither Perrone, 64, nor his lawyer appeared in Brooklyn Criminal Court as a prosecutor presented the indictment to a judge.

The Staten Island salesman was indicted on three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder.

“He intends to vigorously fight the charges against him,” said defense s lawyer, William Martin.
