A clip from a “Scare Tactics”-type Brazilian TV show has gone viral — generating nearly 6 million hits on YouTube in just three days.
The six-minute clip from SBT’s “Pegadinha” (“Hidden Camera”) shows people’s hilariously horrified reactions to coming face-to-face — while stuck in a stalled elevator — with a ghostly young girl who wasn’t there when they entered on the ground floor.
The little girl, dressed in a raggedy gown and holding a bald doll, gazes hauntingly at her “victims” for a few seconds — then lets out a blood-curdling scream which sends them shrieking and cowering.
The joke is that viewers at home can see the young actress sneaking into and out of the mirrored elevator through a trap door — as the lights go out — before scaring the bejeezus out of her prey (both men and women, alone and in pairs).
