Dish Network, the second largest U.S. satellite-TV provider, announced a special dividend of $1 a share. The dividend on outstanding Class A and Class B common stock will be payable in cash on Dec. 28 to shareholders of record as of Dec.14, Englewood, Colo.-based Dish said.
