Ch. 5 vet Ernie Anastos kicks off his new show, “Positively Ernie,” this Saturday, Dec 1, at 5:30 p.m.

Anastos, who also co-anchors the station’s 5 p.m. newscast with Dari Alexander, will use “Positively Ernie” to spotlight “stories, people, groups and organizations that are helping to make our community, our country — even our world — a far better place,” he says.

Anastos will be joined each week by “Dr. Oz” host Mehmet Oz — who’ll talk about “setting goals for living better and longer,” including tips for stress management and good communication with family and friends. The show will also feature segments each week on celebrities including Yankees star CC Sabathia, “America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon and Steffi Graff and husband Andre Agassi, all of whom will talk about how they’re helping educate and inform the public through different initiatives.
