This man is wanted for trying to knock off a Downtown Brooklyn bank, authorities said.
The suspect, sporting a salt-and-pepper beard, entered the Chase branch at MetroTech on Oct. 26 and passed a demand note to a teller, police said.
The teller refused, and the man fled empty-handed, police said.

An off-duty cop was busted in Inwood yesterday for vandalizing a car, authorities said.
Officer Mona Duggal, 28, was arrested on criminal-mischief charges at 6:45 p.m., police said.
She had tried to get the attention of a male acquaintance, and when he didn’t respond to her knock on his door, she damaged his car, cops said.
Duggal was given a desk- appearance ticket.

A man was arrested at Grand Central Terminal for allegedly forcing two children to sell candy bars, and then threatening them when they refused.
Norriel Ferguson, 36, picked up the kids, 16 and 11, in Jersey City on Nov. 14 and had them sell candy bars on PATH train line and at Rockefeller Plaza, which they agreed to do, according to court documents.
Things took a turn for the worse when the kids later asked to be taken home and Ferguson instead took them to Grand Central to keep hawking sweets, the papers say.
An MTA cop spotted Ferguson allegedly stuffing candy bars into the 16-year-old’s backpack on a Metro-North platform.
When the teen protested, Ferguson grabbed the boy by the shirt and threatened to punch him if he didn’t board a train, according to the court complaint.
Ferguson was arrested at 8:40 p.m. and charged with labor trafficking, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful imprisonment. His relationship to the children wasn’t immediately clear.

A man was busted in Midtown for allegedly creating fake identities to meet underage girls on Facebook and then sexually assaulting them.
Adam Barnett, 38, was wanted by Miami Beach police after he pretended online to be a Hooters waitress by using a phony Facebook page, and lured a 17-year-old girl to a South Beach hotel with promises that a wealthy man would pay her $10,000 for sex, authorities said.
When the girl arrived, he allegedly sexually assaulted her.
Now investigators are trying to find out if Barnett — who had a laptop and cellphone on him when he was arrested at The Pod hotel on East 51st Street — might have been preying on women in New York.

A passer-by scared off an attacker who threw down a 22-year-old woman on the street and tried to rape her at gunpoint in Harlem Sunday evening, police said.
The victim was walking near West 118th Street and Lenox Avenue at about 7 p.m. when a man in a black hoodie and black bubble jacket shoved the woman to the ground, displayed a gun and tried to rape her, cops added.
When a passer-by approached, the would-be rapist got scared and fled, according to police.
The suspect is believed to be in his late 30s and about 5-foot-10, cops said.

A man was shot dead in Arverne while trying to collect a gambling debt, authorities said.
Devon Davis, 28, was at home on Beach 59th Street at about 5:10 p.m. Wednesday when he got into a heated argument with another man, cops said.
The gunman shot Davis several times, then fled, cops added.
When EMTs arrived, they found the Davis dead on the hallway floor.
Davis had several arrests dating back to 2001, police sources said.

A man was arrested after robbing a bank in Middle Village yesterday, authorities said.
The suspect stole about $500 from the Valley National Bank on 80th Street near Cooper Avenue at about 1 p.m. before fleeing in a Chevy TrailBlazer, police said.
He was picked up nearby. Charges were pending.

They were hungry for cash.
Three armed bandits robbed a food-cart vendor in Castleton Corners, police said.
Jonathan Ferguson, 19, Melvin Garner, 21, and a third man demanded money and a cellphone from the victim at 1 a.m. Monday at his cart on Manor Road, according to cops.
Garner wielded a knife while the unidentified accomplice brandished a gun, cops said.
The trio made off with $100 and an iPhone, but Ferguson and Garner were nabbed an hour after the caper, cops said.
They were charged with weapons possession, robbery and petit larceny, records show.
Their alleged partner in crime remains on the lam.
Garner was also slapped with charges for threatening to shoot his 14-year-old brother during an argument Sunday inside their Westwood Avenue home, cops added.
