Ucla (+8 1/2) over STANFORD (Pac-12 Championship, Stanford Stadium) : After years of ennui, underdog’s been re-energized by new head coach Jim Mora Jr. If UCLA had beaten the Cardinal last weekend, Bruins would have faced Oregon (in Eugene). But instead, it gets shot at quick revenge, ducking the Ducks in the bargain. UCLA (+8 1/2 ) hangs in at The Farm, in hotly contested thriller, for one unit.

SUNDAY

Seahawks (+3 1/2) over BEARS: ’Twas a costly victory for the Bears over the Vikings, as they lost Matt Forte to injury, incurred further losses on their OL, come into this wholly wracked with pain, and now face difficult defense-oriented visitor boasting dangerous ground game. Seahawks DBs Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner won’t be suspended Sunday. Sail with the Seahawks (+3 1/2) for one unit.
