Drama mama

As the holiday season invades every block of your Google calendar, Mama’s here with three hours worth carving out for TV:

“Sons of Anarchy” (Tuesday, 10 p.m., FX)

What in the hell happened to you, Jax (Charlie Hunnam)?

In just one season, you have spiraled from a tortured Hamlet to a killing machine who isn’t opposed to framing his recovering addict ex to keep her away from her own son.

I know Opie’s death was tough to swallow (and how many times do we really need to relive his skull splattering against the glass in the two-minute recaps?), but dude, you have got to pull it together.

Tara’s (Maggie Siff) laundry list of possible catastrophes this week was on the mark — from relatives to fellow club members to the super scary Donal Logue — the SAMCRO prez has betrayed/beat up/killed so many people, there is little to no chance he’ll escape Charming intact.

As the season wraps next week, there are any number of people ready to take down our “hero” and his family, which should make for some edge-of-your-motorcycle-seat drama.

“Boardwalk Empire” (Sunday, 9 p.m., HBO)

If you abandoned this series early on (don’t worry, so did Mama), you have missed the best comeback season of any HBO series.

We head into the finale this week after last week’s outstanding episode brought the cavalry led by Al Capone (Stephen Graham), who used every second of his last-minute arrival to chew up as much scenery as possible.

And for those who sat through the entire season, we’re finally being rewarded with that mob war we’ve been promised, so expect plenty of bloodshed as the bootleggers battle for control of Atlantic City.

For a show that was uneven at best for the first two seasons, the Steve Buscemi series has finally dropped all of the pieces into place and created an intricate piece of art.

“Nashville” (Wednesday, 10 p.m., ABC)

After Wednesday’s performance by dueling divas Rayna (Connie Britton) and Juliette (Hayden Panettiere), Mama can’t wait to see what develops next between these ladies, especially with “Treme” vet Michiel Huisman pulling the strings as the wily producer.

And as an added bonus, sweet Gunnar (Sam Palladio) may finally grow a pair and confess to Scarlett (Clare Bowen) his feelings now that she’s broken up with cad Avery, whom Mama hopes will stick around, as portrayer Jonathan Jackson is a gem.
