It’s a Christmas celebration — “Duck Dynasty”-style.
Tonight’s episode of A&E’s hit reality show features the Robertson family (that’s matriarch Miss Kay, left, with husband Phil) preparing for the holidays — and was actually filmed last month.
“Miss Kay starts putting out her decorations in November. She’s into heavy-duty planning,” says “Dynasty” executive producer Lily Neumeyer. “As soon as Halloween is over, they start preparing for Christmas.”
And if the show, at times, seems a little too pat — i.e. staged — Neumeyer has an answer.
“All the stories and things that happen on the show come from them,” she says of the family. “We just help them shape it.
“What you see is what you get. No one tells them what to do.”
