WASHINGTON — Republicans are losing the fiscal-cliff blame game.
A 53-percent majority of Americans think Republicans should get the blame if President Obama and Congress can’t reach a deal, while 27 percent said Obama should get the blame, a Pew Research/Washington Post poll showed.
Obama hopes the polls help him in talks on the fiscal cliff, which threatens the economy Jan. 1 with tax hikes and spending cuts.
