A 58-year-old woman was robbed in an apartment-building elevator in Far Rockaway, police said.

A thug followed the victim, 58, into a building near Beach 20th Street, then pushed her into the elevator and simulated a gun at about 8 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.

He made off with her purse and fled, cops added.

Police describe the suspect as in his late 20s and said that at the time of the attack he was wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt and a black leather jacket, authorities said.

An allegedly boozed-up driver was arrested on the Upper East Side after attempting to flee the scene of an accident, authorities said.

Roberto Robles, 57, of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, crashed his gray 2000 Volvo into another car at about 9:30 p.m. last Sunday at Second Avenue and East 72nd Street, cops said.

He told the other driver — who was not injured — that he was going to call the police, sources said.

However, he then allegedly sped off in his vehicle, the sources said.

Other motorists stopped the suspect on East 71st Street, where cops apprehended him, police sources said.

He allegedly had bloodshot eyes, reeked of alcohol and could not stand straight, sources added.

“I only had two beers,” Robles allegedly claimed to cops.

He was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.

The Bronx

A gunman and an accomplice (pictured above) opened fire on a man in Mount Eden, police said yesterday.

The shooter and and the cohort shot the 27-year-old victim in the chest at about 7:50 p.m. Wednesday on Macombs Road near Cromwell Avenue, cops said.

The victim was listed in stable condition at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

The suspects are in their early 20s and stand about 6 feet tall, cops said.

Both were dressed in black, and the gunman was wearing a black leather Pella jacket.

A school safety agent was busted for allegedly stabbing her beau in the South Bronx, police sources said.

Quirsten Green, 25, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the leg in her home near Cauldwell Avenue shortly before 8 a.m. yesterday, sources said.

The victim was treated at Lincoln Hospital.

Brooklyn

A hapless bank robber passed a rambling note to a Downtown Brooklyn bank teller, police sources said.

The suspect went into the Chase branch at the Metrotech Center near Gold Street at about 2:25 p.m. on Nov 26 and passed a note that read, “Good afternoon bank robbery no panic no die [sic] pack no GPS all the money,” sources said.

The employee, 26, told the would-be thief that she couldn’t decipher the note, and he dashed out empty-handed, sources added.

Police are looking for a hefty man approximately 5-foot-7, 260 pounds and 45 years old.

A robber terrorized a teen in Park Slope, police sources said.

The 18-year-old victim was walking on Carlton Avenue near St. Marks Avenue at about 6:15 p.m. on Dec. 1 when the thief gestured that he had a gun and snarled, “Give me everything you have in your pocket!”

He made off with the victim’s cellphone, credit card and MetroCard, sources added.
