Grandma killed in Brooklyn Jeep-crash horror identified

Authorities have identified the grandmother killed in a horrific accident in Bensonhurst yesterday afternoon.

Chenugor Dao, 60, died at Lutheran Medical Center after a Jeep Cherokee collided with an Acura, sending it over the curb and into the victim and three other family members walking near West 5th Street and Quentin Road around 2:25 p.m., police said.

The victim’s husband, daughter and 1-year-old grand-daughter were taken to the same hospital in stable condition, police said.

A 21-year-old passenger in the Jeep was in critical condition at Kings County Hospital. The vehicle’s 41-year-old driver and two other passengers were taken to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition, police said.

The 60-year-old man driving the Acura refused medical attention.

No criminality is suspected, and the cause of the accident is still unknown, cops said.
