A seething Long Island fan obsessed with “The Walking Dead” shot his girlfriend because she told him there’s no way a zombie apocalypse could happen.
Jared Gurman, 26, was getting a ride home from the bar on Sunday night from Jessica Gelderman, 27, when they argued over his wild belief that the undead will overrun America — like on his favorite show, police said.
She dropped him off at his Williston Park home and left at 2 a.m. — but police said he started sending her hostile texts.
One read, ”My gun is loaded, don’t come here, I’m very angry,” law-enforcement sources said.
She returned to check on him, and Gurman shot her once in the back with a rifle, fracturing her ribs and puncturing her lung and diaphragm, police said.
“I was just being an a–hole,” Gurman allegedly told cops.
Gelderman was in stable condition yesterday. Gurman was being held without bail.
