Parking ‘$kim’ busts

They take your car keys — and your identity.

Crooked attendants at six Manhattan parking garages have been busted for using tiny hand-held “skimmers” to record the credit-card numbers of unsuspecting customers, Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance Jr. said yesterday.

In the most recent arrest, Chinoy Shaw, 27, of The Bronx, an attendant at Eastway Tenant Parking Garage on West 49th Street, was indicted for allegedly using the credit information of more than 50 customers to make counterfeit cards.

The cards were used to buy $36,000 in Apple products and other electronics, officials said.

Attendants at garages on East 73rd Street, Central Park South, West 36th Street, West 56th Street and West 24th Street have already pleaded guilty for similar scams between 2009 and last year, officials said.
