Standard Chartered expects $330M US fines to settle charges of violating sanctions against Iran

LONDON — Standard Chartered bank says it expects to pay $330 million in fines to US agencies to settle charges of violating sanctions against Iran.

The bank said Thursday that it believes investigations by the US Department of Justice, the Treasury and the Federal Reserve will soon be resolved.

Standard Chartered PLC previously paid $340 million to settle an investigation by the New York State Department of Financial Services.
