WATCH: Deleted scene from “Girls”

Season 2 of HBO’s “Girls” returns Jan. 13. To refresh your memory of Season 1, Hannah Horvath (Lena Dunham) is forced to look for a real, paying job when her parents cut her off financially — they had been supporting her Brooklyn lifestyle while she worked at an unpaid internship. In this deleted scene from the newly-released Season 1 DVD set, Hannah checks back in at a cupcake shop after submitting an application. (Bonus points if you remember those cupcakes being referenced in a later scene in Episode 3.)
