Bx. man busted at JFK for stun guns in luggage

A Bronx man was busted at JFK Airport after authorities found 26 stun guns in his luggage, officials said today.

“I didn’t know they were illegal,’’ suspect Felix Pena, 27, told officials after his arrest, according to law-enforcement officials.

Pena was arrested at the Queens airport at about 7 a.m. Friday after a TSA screener discovered the contraband in his suitcase before his flight to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, sources said.

The suspect told authorities he had purchased the items on e-Bay and hoped to offer them for re-sale once he got to the DR, a source said.

Possessing stun guns is illegal in New York. Port Authority cops arrested the suspect on weapons-possession charges, sources said.
