BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — A man says he blocked his 4-year-old daughter’s Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World because she’s cancer-free after two years of treatment, and the group should use its limited funds on a child who’s sick.
William May, of Toledo, said little McKenna no longer has leukemia. But Make-A-Wish noted that her struggle alone qualifies her, and her mother, Whitney Hughes, is collecting donations to take her anyway.
