BLOCKHEADS: Easily one of the summer’s best street fairs, El Museo del Barrio’s annual block party has awesome entertainment, including performances and workshops in break dancing and salsa, an interactive show by hip-hop/spoken word artists the Welfare Poets and a play area for kids with hula hoops, chalk drawing and more from the Museum for African Art. 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., free. 104th Street, between Fifth and Madison avenues; elmuseo.org

TOMORROW

ON A ROLL: Whether you’re a fan of old-fashioned or in-line roller skates, the Skate Truck NYC has a pair in your size (plus protective gear). Rent some wheels when the Skate Truck hits your neighborhood. This weekend’s location is in Central Park. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., last rental at 7 p.m., $15 for two hours, $20 for four hours, $25 for the whole day. LEGIT LINCOLN: Perhaps your kids are a little confused about US history because of a certain movie about vampires and one of our greatest leaders? “Honestly Abe: The Musical” is all about President Abraham Lincoln’s early years, and makes no mention of vampire hunting at all. We promise. 11 a.m., $15 to $35. Actors Temple Theatre, 339 W. 47th St., between Eighth and Ninth avenues; 212-245-6975, lamusevenale.org

STILL TO COME

YIPPEE SKIPPY: Expect Theatreworks USA’s “Skippyjon Jones” to be just as colorful and crazy as the super-popular kids’ book series about a Siamese cat with a fencing Chihuahua alter ego named El Skippito Friskito. Oh, and expect the free, first-come, first-served tickets to run out fast! Best to show up an hour before the show. Wednesday through Aug. 17, days and times vary. Lucille Lortel Theatre, 121 Christopher St., between Bleecker and Hudson streets; 212-924-8782; lortel.org
