“Ab Fab” fashionistas Edina (Jennifer Saunders) and Patsy (Joanna Lumley) are back, and they’re cheering on the home team in their Olympics special.
The British comedy, which aired in the mid-’90s, has been brought back for a series of three specials to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show. The third in the series will be jointly broadcast on Logo and BBC America tomorrow night at 10.
The episode takes place the week of opening ceremonies for this summer’s London Olympics, and Eddy has rented out her house to a Hollywood star while she, her daughter, her mother and her assistant are all still living there.
To make matters more awkward, her “sex-addicted” ex-husband and his new American wife are visiting for the Games, as well.
Champagne-swilling Eddy and pal Patsy end up running for glory inside the Olympic stadium and crashing a party attended by guest stars fashion designer Stella McCartney, Welsh track Olympian Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson and British track Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes.
