A New Brighton beat cop busted a man in a parked car after the suspect flashed a gun and threatened him as he walked by, authorities said yesterday.

Thomas Nimley, 34, was in the driver’s seat of a 2001 Mazda Millennia on Jersey Street at 4:40 p.m. Saturday when he allegedly snarled, “You’d better watch your back,” and showed the officer a black pistol.

No shots were fired, but a subsequent search of the car turned up a small bag of marijuana, cops said.

A man pummeled not only a woman who had just rejected his advances but also two others who had rushed to her defense on a Morris Heights street corner, authorities said.

Leroy Shepperson, 29, approached the first woman from behind at 2:45 a.m. July 15 at 161st Street and the Grand Concourse, according to court papers, prompting her pals to help.

He punched one woman in the mouth hard enough to chip a tooth and bashed the other two in the jaw, the court records claim.

All three women were treated at a local hospital.

Shepperson was arrested and charged with three counts of assault and harassment.

A nimble but forgetful ex-con burglarized two East New York businesses by cutting holes in the roof, authorities said.

Johnny Wallace, 42, made an opening in the ceiling of a pizzeria on Pitkin Avenue near Rockaway Avenue at 2:24 a.m. April 11 and swiped money from a register, court papers state.

But he left behind a hammer, and crime-scene investigators recovered a skin sample and tested it for DNA against the state’s criminal database, cops said.

Then, at 3:43 a.m. on May 30, Wallace visited another closed-for-the-night Pitkin Avenue establishment, according to court records.

This time, he ransacked a register — and even took the coins from a gumball machine, according to the court records.

An employee discovered the theft — and the opening in the ceiling — that morning and called cops.

Detectives soon linked the DNA from the first caper to Wallace, and he was picked up on July 17 and charged with both burglaries, authorities said

Records indicate that he has served two stints in prison, on convictions for weapon possession and attempted burglary.

A cop on patrol in Coney Island not only survived a boxcutter attack but also apprehended the slasher, police said.

After observing Jeffrey Jones handling a silver object at West 33rd Street and Mermaid Avenue at 12:20 a.m. July 15, the officer approached and asked to see it, court records show.

But Jones, 34, allegedly refused and instead punched the cop in the face and began slashing away.

The two struggled, and Jones was eventually cuffed and charged with assault, weapon possession and resisting arrest.

The officer suffered facial bruises and a cut on his arm. He was treated at Coney Island Hospital.

A man confronted the stranger who had snatched his bag off a Bedford-Stuyvesant sidewalk, only to be threatened with a screwdriver as the thief escaped, authorities said.

Surveillance video shows George Castillo, 58, picking up the bag, which contained eyeglasses, headphones and a smartphone, after its owner momentarily placed it down on Lexington Street between Franklin and Classon avenues at 12:35 p.m. July 6, court papers state.

When the victim ran into the thief three days later and demanded his stuff back, Castillo allegedly pulled the screwdriver and screamed at him, “Come next to me again, and I’ll kill you!”

That got the attention of officers, who arrested him on charges of grand larceny, possession of stolen property and menacing.

A years-long feud between a Crown Heights bodega owner and a customer whom he once accused of shoplifting is the back story for a rare cane attack, authorities said.
