DALLAS

Wednesday, 9 p.m., TNT

Something fishy

Handfishin’ pros Skipper Bivins and Trent Jackson are amping up the fish stories by setting up a good old-fashioned Oklahoma noodling competition. The first round of newbie noodlers includes Chuck and his mother-in-law, Marijane, from Monmouth, Iowa, a town of only 120 people. Then there’s Dusty and Dena, beautiful, bad-ass hunters from a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. Tim and Tom are Morristown, NJ, mega-church pastors who are known for their large voices and abundance of energy. They are ready to call on the almighty power to catch the biggest fish. Tom bets that Tim is going to be the first between them to get bit, but if Tom’s wrong, he must clean the church bathrooms for a month.

HILLBILLY HANDFISHIN’

Today, 8 p.m., Animal Planet

Menace to society

A suspected predator is set free for lack of evidence this week on “Rookie Blue.” But when Dov (Gregory Smith) and Chris (Travis Milne) make a grim discovery — a missing girl’s body, hidden in a ravine — all bets are off. Detective Luke Callaghan (Eric Johnson) returns to oversee the homicide investigation, and soon realizes this might be the work of a serial killer. When they learn that Andy (Missy Peregrym, above right with Ben Bass) has been assaulted and Gail (Charlotte Sullivan) violently abducted following the call girl sting, the officers rally in a race against time to track down Gail’s captor before it’s too late. Following up on a simple lead, one officer ends up directly in the path of the killer.

ROOKIE BLUE

Thursday, 10 p.m., ABC

Skin deep

As the forthright Bette Davis once said, “Old age is no place for sissies.” But what about supermodels? Do women who’ve made millions off their beautiful faces have a harder time than the rest of us with wrinkles, collagen loss, cellulite, gray hair and other signs that time is marching on? In the documentary “About Face,” filmmaker Timothy Greenfield-Sanders interviews some of the most celebrated faces of times gone by — Cheryl Tiegs, Christie Brinkley, Isabella Rossellini and Paulina Porizkova, among many others — to talk about these issues and review their careers as runway goddesses, when life was a party and everyone told them they were beautiful.

ABOUT FACE: SUPERMODELS, THEN AND NOW

Monday, 9 p.m., HBO

Wanted: dead or alive

The star of a boy band returns to his hometown — Boston — for a show and winds up getting murdered. Jane (Angie Harmon) and her brother Frankie (Jordan Bridges), who grew up with the victim, work hard to solve the case. Meanwhile, Jane and Maura (Sasha Alexander) decide to tell Angela (Lorraine Bracco) the truth about Lydia’s (guest star Alexandra Holden) pregnancy — just as Angela prepares to throw a baby shower. Frankie might be the dad.
