An African-American former field technician for Verizon has filed a $70 million lawsuit against the telecommunications giant — claiming that he was harassed on the job and that someone left a noose in his truck, The Post has learned.

Terrence Brown alleges in a complaint filed in Brooklyn federal court that, during his tenure from 2000-2009, a white supervisor routinely made derogatory remarks about black people.

Verizon spokesman John Bonomo said, “We take allegations such as this very seriously, and we do not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination.”
