Perfect dozen: Baby born at 12:12 on 12/12/12

What a lucky baby!

She doesn’t even have a name yet, but she does have a great birth date.

She was born on 12/12/12 at exactly 12:12 p.m. by Caesarean section at New York-Cornell Hospital.

Although the auspicious date was chosen for the delivery, the time of birth yesterday was accidental.

“When the doctor looked at the clock he said, ‘Oh, my God, it’s 12:12!” said happy dad Michael Patterson, 37.

A special day like this won’t occur for another 88 years, when it’s Jan. 1, 2101, or 1/1/01.

Patterson said doctors had wanted to deliver their third child a few days early to avoid complications, and friends suggested the day. The Upper East Side couple already has 20-month-old twins, Henry and Eleanor.

Mom Olivia, 35, said, “I am so happy and euphoric. I feel like we gave her a little gift.”

Michael, who works in finance, said his wife, a Frick Collection employee, had no idea if they were going to have a boy or girl. As of last night, they still didn’t have a name for their wailing 6-pounder.

“It’s the best Christmas present we can possibly imagine,” said Michael, adding that December is a big month for birthdays in the family.

He was born on the 21st, his dad on the 2nd and his mom on the 14th. Also noteworthy, his wife was born on Jan. 12 and her sister on May 12.

The newborn “is a special baby and, selfishly, it’s an easy birthday to remember,” said Michael.

Olivia wasn’t the only woman who gave birth at 12:12 p.m. Blina Wercberger, 31, naturally delivered her fifth child, a girl, at Mount Sinai Hospital.

“It was amazing,” said the mom from Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Couples also took advantage of the special date. At City Hall, Shetal Shah, 39, a Manhattan filmmaker, married Vittorio Ottaviani, 38, a painter, at exactly 12:12 p.m.

“I’m 39, and 3 and 9 is 12,” she said. “It’s 12:12 now. It’s the last time in our generation that we’ll witness a triple-digit date. It’s very meaningful.”
