Ariel Winter is keeping her mother troubles on ice, as she returns to the set of her hit show, “Modern Family,” for the first since an ugly custody battle broke out last month.
Winter and co-star Sofia Vergara were spotted filming this scene on the streets of LA over the weekend.
All we can say is that Vergara’s character — the very pregnant Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, last time we looked — must have had her baby.
“Sooooooooo . . . kind of too early to be awake right now. #upsince5 #atwork #Icandothis,” Winter tweeted her fans before heading to the set.
Winter, meanwhile, has been tied up in court with her mother who was ordered by an LA judge last month to temporarily relinquish custody of the 14-year-old actress to her older sister in a dispute over the mother’s fitness.
The court battle has captivated Hollywood — not least because Winter’s considerable salary of several million dollars a year will go with her.
A trial to determine whether her mom, Chrisoula Workman, or sister Shanelle Gray, 34, will get permanent custody is expected early next year.
Winter applied last October to be legally removed from her mother and placed with Gray, a soap actress, claiming her mother abused her.
